Tonight we handed out jump ropes and books instead of treats. Most kids were ok with that. A few were a little disappointed. They were probably wondering why anyone would give out anything besides candy. The reason is pretty simple. It was actually cheaper. They were all originally $1 each. But, after the 90% clearance price they cost 10 cents each.
Grandma brought this cool jack-o-lantern bib for GH. It's pretty awesome:)

Oh Krazy Girl of little patience
Today, Stephanie brought over the cutest four poster bed for The Rooster. While I was at the park I went on and on and on about how excited I was. And, how my mother in law was coming down tonight and she would probably be more than willing to help me. And that she would know how to fill up a gap in the grooves so I could use the posts because she's much more resourceful than myself. Do you think I could wait that long? Seriously, it was like a three hour wait.....so ....Heck no I couldn't wait!!! That puppy is up...minus the posts.
2008 Tour of Parks continues
Princess J and GH hung out. GH also met the other H that we heard about. They were both born at the same hospital a few days apart. But the other H is a lot bigger than GH. He's like 23 pounds GH might be a 15 pounder. I got a picture of them together. But, I didn't ask the mom if I could post it. So I won't.
We need more pumpkins
We had been playing in a big pile of leaves when Big Dog left and started placing a basketball beside the pumpkin on our front step. It kept rolling away. So he kept putting it back. I said "Is that basketball a pumpkin?" I then positioned the new pumpkin beside the old pumpkin using our "pumpkin bats". Big Dog was very proud and said "One, two pumpkins" What an imagination:)
I thought Big Dog loved Jack's Big Music Show

A Rooster education
"I'd like to answer the puzzle Pat. 'Greatest Website in the world' The answer is 'Hang on baby Jesus, This is gonna get bumpy" Haha.
Anyway, tonight the Rooster and Big Dog watched Wheel of Fortune for the first time in forever. Big Dog was so excited trying to name the letters before the cameras flipped away. The Rooster and dad watched in amazement. But, that wasn't all he did tonight to suprise us.
While getting out of the bathtub Big Dog pointed out the letters on his step stool. He said "N U B Y" Then went back to the N and said "nnnnnn" He does point out letters a lot. But I only thought he knew the Y, and Z sound. Guess I don't know everything:)

10 Thing Tuesday
Instilling a sense of right and wrong
Big Dog and I were watching a few minutes of Sesame Street. Cookie Monster ate another characters meal and left her with nothing but a napkin. When Elmo told the other character that she still had a napkin Cookie Monster came over and ate that too. What a punk!!! :D
So I told Big Dog that Cookie Monster had been very bad. Big Dog repeated "Baaaaaaaad".

My Catholic Family
The Rooster watched "My Catholic Family" again. She saw a picture of a crucifix and said "Jesus" and she folded her hands as if she were in prayer. (She's done this before...it's so cute) Then after she saw that Saint Terese went to the convent she decided to put on this burp rag.
Later she saw another crucifix. This time she stretched her arms out and said "Jesus dying". She definately seems to get the basics. Which means she's doing better than me:)
