Now there is no excuse for not knowing how cool we are.
I installed a Google language tool on the top right sidebar. Maybe tomorrow you will want to read our blog in Spanish. Tuesday you might want to read it in Italian. Wednesday in French....Heck, I don't know what kind of mood you will be in. So do whatever you want.
Saturday Seven
Seven things that happened this week.
1) Captain Awesome finally won the football pool at work.
2) GH can sit up pretty well:)
3) Melanie hooked me up with some awesome links:)
4) Captain Awesome got a lot of work done in our yard.
5) Big Dog started answering the phone and sometimes he will bring it to us:D He has done something to our answering machine. It hangs up on people, and it no longer has a message. So we might not get a message you leave.
6) I took a two hour nap;D
7) Captain Awesome has the weekend off:)

Sick
Big Dog was sick today. So I brought out a pillow, blanket, and Bob the Dog for him.

The Rooster got into Big Dog's sleep zone before he could. So I had to make one for her as well.

Rooster brought stuffed animals over to Big Dog, tucked the animals in. Then gave Big Dog a kiss:)

That doesn't look comfortable.

If you ever have to translate something
I highly suggest Google Translate. I just wrote a HUGE letter in Czech. And it was so simple. It's so awesome!
The dollar value of a two hour nap. $40
Captain Awesome came home from work early today. He told me to go take a nap. Maybe I was cranky or something. Anyway, when I woke up he said "Remember, how much you love the kids." I was all "What happened?" He then said "There's nothing that can't be cleaned up" I was all "What happened?" Apparently while I was napping and Captain Awesome was on his football message board the kids lost their minds with all the freedom:D Haha.
(I thought Stephanie would appreciate this b/c she pointed out to me today that I ALWAYS take pictures of the chaos that occurs with my kids. I told her it's the only way I don't freak out about it. At least I can get pictures and think it's funny....(and blog-able) )
Anyway, here are some pictures of the destruction. The first thing I found was a grape vine stem.

You might be thinking "Hey at least they are eating healthy stuff." Not so fast...........
Did I mention Big Dog loves to color? Well he does and he colored his face. BTW---I don't typically keep crackers stored in the bathroom. This is a one time thing:)

The Rooster attempted to make a cake. This explains why at dinner Big Dog kept asking for cake. I think Rooster might have promised him a cake. Usually I won't let Rooster break open the eggs b/c egg shells end up in the mix. Well I guess she showed me....
Most of the shells ended up in the trash.
There was some damage to some DVD's. But, I'm trying to be calm about it. I did enjoy my nap:) And the kids did make some attempt to clean. See, they got out the broom:)

Book Sale at the Library
Since I'm a member of Friends of the Library I got to go to the sneak preview of the book sale. I had GH with me and he wasn't necessarily happy with the fact that he didn't have my full attention. But, I was still able to pick up some cool books for the kids and myself. I got the kids several board books, and I got a bunch of activity books to do with the kids. There are some great craft ideas in these books. I also got a cool "How to make Paper Warplanes" for my nephew Presto.29 weeks of shenanigans

I'm not responsible for the content of this blog
The Krazy Girl is responsible for the content of this blog. She's like the rude version of me. I would never say the things she says. The persona is there to protect me and stuff. Some might say I'm using The Krazy Girl as a scapegoat for my immature behavior. And I am.
Seriously how nuts does Beyonce sound????? How come celebrities can say these types of things and not get committed???:D I do sort of get what she's saying....but, it's really out there.

Beyonce would like to be known as "Sasha Fierce"
10/23/2008 1:00 PM, Reuters
Just like the "Seinfeld" episode where George wanted everyone to call him "T-Bone," Beyonce Knowles would like to be known by a bold new name.
The R&B singer has christened herself "Sasha Fierce" for her new double album, "I Am ... Sasha Fierce," due in U.S. stores on November 18, and has released a lengthy justification for the comical moniker.
"I have someone else that takes over when it's time for me to work and when I'm on stage, this alter ego that I've created that kind of protects me and who I really am," the former Destiny's Child frontwoman said in a statement.
"Sasha Fierce is the fun, more sensual, more aggressive, more outspoken side and more glamorous side that comes out when I'm working and when I'm on the stage."
As George found out, nicknames usually do not work when they are self-bestowed. His colleagues thought he should be called Koko the monkey. In real life, rapper Eminem had better luck with his alter ego "Slim Shady," which he said came to him while he was on the toilet.
Beyonce released her previous solo album, "B'Day," to coincide with her 25th birthday in September 2006. It debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. pop chart and yielded the No. 1 single "Irreplaceable."
"I Am ... Sasha Fierce" will be distributed by Columbia Records.

The Principle is mad at Captain Awesome
Not the principal...Principle Financial who manage some of our finances. Apparently, Captain Awesome engaged in short term trading. So the money we had in the market was frozen into bonds for the next thirty days. The letter informed us that it can't be moved back into the market to "make" money. Hahaha. So anyway, our money is safe for 30 days. Woot!

An official apology
I am sorry to the following people....for the following things
a) Anyone who has read the last few "questionable posts" that I have put up before I deleted or edited them.
b) To Captain Awesome. I am sorry that your photo on the sidebars was of your "bad side". I am also sorry that I used your legal name. I have edited it. You have become accustomed to the nickname and I will use it on the blog from now on:)
c) When I browse blogs I ALWAYS answer the polls that are in languages I don't know. If it looks like a bunch of gibberish I can't help myself.

Terrific Tuesday
Some things that made today terrific.
1) I got a "Wake up Mommy" wake up call. Unlike most exhausted moms I don't mind these at all. They make me soooo happy.
2) I discovered that Big Dog is not color blind like I thought. He simply hadn't learned any colors yet.
3) GH yawning. In my opinion nothing is as beautiful as a baby yawning:)
4) The Roosters toe nail polish matches mine. We are adorable.
5) The Rooster and Big Dog shared a very popular toy. They do not see eye to eye on how to properly use the floor mat numbers. It's a battle everytime we have used them. Until today:) (The fact that I had to threaten to take them away, does not diminsh the fact that they shared. At least not in my eyes:))

Kim's Halloween Party
Holy Moly Kim can throw a party! She had music, crafts, food, and tons of decorations. We had a blast! Captain Awesome even got to talk football. Which I know he loves to do:) These are a few pictures from tonight.
Before we left the house.

We went with a Star Wars theme. GH is Yoda. Big Dog is Darth Vader, and The Rooster is Princess Leia.

I'm going to rule the galaxy with an iron fist......as soon as I figure out how to get out of this car seat.

The princess has arrived.

Gabs was a super cute pirate.
When will mom figure out how to run her camera? Then I could go back to playing.

I totally stole this icon

So I got this months Family Fun magazine yesterday. I get four subscriptions. And they all arrive within a day of each other each month. So I flip through each magazine and rip out the things I want to do. Then I toss the rest of the magazine away. Before I file them in the correct seasonal binder. I try to do some of the things that feasable and age appropriate. Sometimes I "wing it" a little too much. That happened today. I fell in love with the Autumn leaves in this months FF magazine. I searched high and low for leaf cookie cutters. I couldn't find any at our house or in the local stores. So I made a template and cut them out. Not that it mattered b/c the Rooster got a little rough with them. So even if I would have had perfect cookie cutter shapes they wouldn't have stayed that way. I didn't have a lot of what was called for in the recipe. But, we did have peanut butter. Yum! So they don't look as pretty as the ones in the magazine. But, they still tasted good....and I guess thats all that matters.
*Sorry grammar police:)Saturday Seven
Seven things that happened this week
1) Our DVR arrived. Krimsin will be so excited that we have joined the 21st century. I'm recording all the 17 and Counting shows. I made sure I have it set to get Captain Awesome's football shows etc. And I cued episodes of The Wiggles. The Wiggles are on at some ridiculous time like 6am. I only know one fan who is dedicated enough to get up that early and his name is Logan:) I also cued a bunch of kids programming on EWTN that we never seem to get to see.
2) While on a walk the small wheel on our jogger stroller broke:(
3) The Little Teapot book received another coat of shipping tape to hold it together.
4) I learned how to use our extra table leaf when Stephanie's kids came to visit for the evening.
5) Captain Awesome is starting to have days off again.
6) The kids have been jumping off the coffee table:0
7) GH is all over the place. He does a military crawl. But, it gets him from point A to point B. It also gets him into unusual situations.

Sometimes I question whether "secrets" are made up. This one is really sad. So I hope it's made up. If not, I can totally understand why she enjoys pointing it out. At least she's having fun with it.
