This Sunday
I wasn't going to blog about this because it doesn't speak well of my parenting. But, I'm so proud of my children that I feel compelled to write about it.
This Sunday Captain Awesome went back to work. So I took the kids to church on my own. So of course I took the kids directly to the quiet room. Well it was full when we got there. I guess I should get to church more than 5 minutes before Mass starts:D Anyway, I thought "Ok, I'll take them in. I'll just have to leave when they get out of control." Well they were good. So good in fact, that God himself was probably shocked. When we left Rooster used the Holy Water and made the sign of the Cross. I was floored. Are these my kids? And why is it that when your kids are naughty at church (or anywhere for that matter) you run into EVERYONE you know? But, when your kids are shockingly well-behaved you don't see anyone you know.....What's with that?

This is posted under shenanigans because something is up.....maybe they are setting me up. It must be some sort of conspiracy;)

Whatever shall I do?
A few moments ago I found a small load of towels and clothing in my washing machine. I noticed that on the dryer there was an open bottle of detergent. Someone dumped a full bottle of liquid soap into the washing machine. The first thing I thought was "I know GH did this" :D Haha. The second thought was

What should I do? I could rinse the laundry out in the bathtub. I could just throw the laundry away. But, will there still be tons of soap in the basin of the washer? Should I run a little water into the basin then drain it...repeating this about a million times;) I seriously am clueless on what I should do. HELP PLEASE!!!

Not so funny
Captain Awesome thinks its hilarious that Rooster has been putting stickers on my back. So I think it's equally hilarious that Big Dog wouldn't let Captain Awesome take a nap this afternoon;D I know...I'm super mature.
Anyway, Captain Awesome kept trying to nap. He would turn off the light, lay down and cover up with a blanket. Big Dog would come in, turn on the light and run away. This happened several times before Captain Awesome just gave up on the nap.

Playin' mama for a fool
The Rooster is giving me hugs then slapping stickers on my back without me realizing it. This morning I found five stickers on my back. This is getting ridiculous. She must have learned this trick at school.
