Our life in sketches

State Farm is lookin' to sell us car insurance

They even sent us this nifty bumper sticker. Which I'm sure they didn't anticipate people actually using. But, I think it looks pretty nice. I think it's pretty funny too. My kids are always ramming each other with the cars.

Pictures from today

My mother-in-law let me look through a bunch of boxes of stuff she was going to give away. She said I could take whatever I wanted. I wonder if she expected me to take as much stuff as I did? Anyway, I got all these great containers for projects for the kids and decided to start using them. The first project was a ball drop. The kids loved this activity.

Wow...that's a fuzzy picture.
We made turkeys. The Rooster insisted that her stuffed toy Linny do a turkey as well.
GH loves to swing. Big Dog even gave GH a little push.

I got some awesome jars from my MIL too. I'm ordering flameless tea lights. So I am hopeful that I will be able to do this project.
I love this ladies blog. Besides the obvious fact that she is much holier than myself. (like thats hard....haha) She is always doing the coolest stuff with her kids. Look what she did for the Feast of Archangels.
Umm, what can I say? Some moms have it together...and then there is me:)

Our tree

This summer our neighbor Rosemary brought over a huge box of scratch paper and wallpaper for the kids to use for craft time. We have really enjoyed using it. Today we used some wallpaper to make a tree. As you can see Big Dog really enjoyed coloring the bumpy wallpaper. Anyway, we hung it outside our front door.

Then we attached leaves to our tree.

Good Lord....I'm so happy!

The new season started tonight. Woohoo!

From this weeks Post Secret

We went to the ranch to celebrate Joyce and Alan's 35th wedding anniversary

Some pictures

GH was hungry
Big Dog and I worked on numbers and shapes. Cousin Ames joined us. She thought it was super funny when I got all dramatic and said "the oval is a sssttreeetccchhed out circle".
The Roosters allergies kicked in since mom and dad forgot her medicine AGAIN. But, cousin Presto stayed in a dark bedroom and watched cartoons with her.

What we did today

We enjoyed playing with our cardboard dominoes.

We got a little work done on our flag.
We started our paper mache bowl today.

We pretended to be spiders and made a huge spider web on the porch.

We painted our pumpkin.

The Roosters bird book arrived. She was so happy:)

Our find

The Rooster and I went to the library last night. We found a bunch of books and this map in the library book store. The map was only 33 cents and all the hard back books were a dollar each. I'm pretty happy with the find. Rick is always saying the kids have tons of Czech stuff...or "bowhunk stuff" as he calls it. But, that they don't have anything Swedish. Well, now they do.

GH

I can't believe next week he will be 6 months old. The time has flown by so quickly. This week GH got his first tooth. My baby is growing up.

Yummy

The Rooster helped me make some banana bread today. It looks delicious.

Some progress on our flag

Big Dog helped put on a few pieces today:)

I'm like totally up in your face.

That just happened!

Help us name the new blog

We have been brainstorming for a new name for our blog. But, we haven't found one that meets our criteria. a) we don't want to use our names b) we want something funny c) we don't want it to be offensive:)

So we thought maybe we would open it up for suggestions. After submitting a suggestion in the comments section of this entry we will post a poll and let our readers decide on a name. We thought we would leave it open for suggestions for a week or so to give people time to brainstorm. Here are some ideas we came up with to help you get started.
- Wahooligans
-Not so quiet riot
-Humpty was pushed

We actually had more ideas but, I didn't write them down. So I will add them later if I remember. Anyway, you might be asking yourself, why should I help? Well my dear friends its called a prize package. If your name receives the most votes you will receive the following prizes.

Nine Christmas stickers courtesy of Boys Town
A free rental from one of our local video stores. Too bad if you don't live near us:( This sports car
Save $1 on two Hot Pockets coupon.

And if that doesn't make you want to help us out. I know cold hard cash will. You will also win this $1 bill.
Thanks for your participation.
